Rotisserie is a style of roasting, where meat is skewered on a spit and was first used to describe this kind of cooking in the year 1450. The rotating spit cooks meat evenly in its own juices and allows access for continuous self-basting.
PERFECTLY ROASTED CHICKEN
Roasting is a cooking method that uses dry heat, whether an open flame, oven, or other heat source. Roasting can enhance flavor through caramelization and browning on the surface of the food while keeping the center meaty areas moist and flavorful. Roasting uses indirect, diffused heat and is suitable for slower cooking of meat in a larger, whole piece. A roast of meat can take one, two, even three hours to cook - the resulting meat is tender, juicy and full of flavor. Karachi needed a clean & hygienic eatery that focused primarily on rotisserie & flame grilled chicken, which wasn’t dry or overly spiced. Keeping that and our love for rowing & the ocean in mind, we came up with Rowtisserie. A friendly, family oriented restaurant that offers simple food and fresh/clean flavours.
